@Robin and @Ssumin

There is a good article which talks about the different apps stores in detail for the mobile smartphones:
<a href="http://www.itnews.com.au/News/141524,analysis-app-stores-in-detail.aspx" target="_blank">http://www.itnews.com.au/News/141524,analysis-app...</a>

@Ssumin,

Gravity is similar to Twitterific. For the Ovi Store, the issue is to develop the app in Symbian specific to the handset itself, because the same operating system is used by other vendors such as LG and Samsung other than Nokia who has funded the Symbian Foundation. I agree with the touchscreen comment and I need to hold my touch so that it can execute the scrolling and button pressing for the N97.

@Hillary,

Yes, Gravity is pricey, but they have no potential competitors, because more people made twitter apps for iPhone OS but not for other phone operating systems.

$14.95 for a twitter client is just exorbitant. Haven't tried Gravity yet - how does it compare to free apps like Twitterfon on the iPhone? As a casual smartphone user, it's all about the apps for me. Looking forward to an Ovi store vs. Apple app store vs. Android esp since you've got the developer expertise. In the meantime, sounds like the N97 has a lot of catching up to do, esp as it's touch screen isn't v responsive, a must I feel for any self-respecting touchscreen smartphone!

I really enjoyed the keyboard. Such a nice touch. As for the apps, do you think Gravity may be a little pricey? But I suppose if you can afford the N97, what's $14.95.
