Goodbye 2012, Welcome 2013

2013 and 2012 written in sand with waves2012 represented a year of change in my life, from closing down one chapter of my life in the startup world to starting up a family. I am thankful to the support and friendship from many who have shown me during those tough days this year. Yet, life is about moving forward and not looking backward despite that new problems and challenges present themselves at me from time to time.

In 2013, it will be straightforward and the theme is focus. I only want to do three things well in the year ahead:

a. Be a good husband to my wife and be there to support and love her whenever she needs me.

b. Be a good father to my daughter who requires a lot of patience and care for her in a challenging year ahead.

c. Learn, enjoy and execute in my current role in Vistaprint.

If there is one more thing, it will be the renaissance ongoing within and in my own capacity: to be helpful and provide value to entrepreneurs & investors in the startup ecosystem.

As per all things in life, we can only do our best. Of course, I wish that my family, relatives and friends a great year ahead.
